Neighborhood Friends at the Lake House is a recovery focused community residence. It is not a medical facility or treatment provider. Residents are responsible for coordinating their own medical/behavioral health and counseling through qualified providers. Assistance and transportation may be available upon request.
Residents are expected to refrain from the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the property. Our goal is to provide a stable home where residents can focus on recovery and growth. To do so, the community must be committed to being a substance-free living environment.

Do you only accept veterans?
No, we are not exclusive to veterans. All are welcome.
Is the home furnished, or do I need to bring my own furniture?
Yes, the home is fully furnished. Residents are welcome to bring extra items.
Can someone come directly from detox or residential treatment?
Yes. There will be space for residents to disclose additional information on the referral form.
Are pets allowed?
No.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
Yes, in designated smoking areas only.
Do I have to receive VA benefits to qualify?
No, you do not have to receive VA benefits to qualify.
Are meals provided?
No. For any additional services, residents may submit requests to staff.
